In this comprehensive course, you'll learn everything you need to know about making delicious and beautiful cakepops! We'll start with the basics, teaching you how to bake the cake and turning it in to the right consistency for your cakepop dough.

From there, we'll guide you through the process of shaping your cakepop dough into the perfect balls, dipping them and how to properly melt your candy melts. We'll cover drizzling techniques, and even show you how to work with fondant and my very favorite edible paints.

Included throughout the videos, we also teach you important troubleshooting tips for common issues like cakepops falling off the stick, chocolate cracking, or other common issues that people have when making cakepops.

Session 1: Baking the Cake

Step one of the cakepop making process is baking and making your cake and dough! In this video, you will get to see how I bake my cakes and the process that I use every time to make delicious and easy to work with cake dough.

JUST ADDED - If you are struggling with the texture of your cake dough, check out the second video added to this section and see if mixing your cake dough when it is fully cooled is a better option for you!

Session 2: Measuring, Rolling & DISC pops

Now that you have your cake dough all prepped and cooled, it is time to see the two techniques I use to shape my cake dough.

The first method in this video is the traditional rolling method. The second video will show you a new way to make cakepops, by rolling out your dough to a desired thickness and using plunger molds to cut your cake dough out!

Session 3: Melting the Chocolate

I will show you how to use my favorite My Little Cakepop Molds and the ways that they can make shaping go so much quicker. I will also be showing you some basic shapes that are versatile and that you don't need a mold for at all!
